Liberal Hypocrisy and Lies Coming Back To Bite Democrats

President George W. Bush protected The United States from terrorist attacks for over 7 years, while under Obama we have been attacked at least 3 times in under one year. Just goes to show that Democrats have no clue how to protect our country.

Mr. Obama and the Democrats are all starting to whine and cry about the criticism their party is starting receive for all of their idiotic, ill-conceived, and possibly illegal actions and policies. The Democrats have really screwed themselves in the next election, and probably for years to come, but they only have Obama and their own party to blame.

Funny how things are coming back full circle to bite the butts of the Democrats who started all of the partisan political problems that our country faces today.

Democrats, in their true hypocritical fashion, tried to make it seem that Bush was the only one who thought that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, when in reality many world leaders and most Democrats publicly stated that Saddam had WMD, was a threat to the stability of the region, and a danger to the world.

It was only after the early days of the Iraq war, when no WMD were found, that the Democrats started trying to whitewash and re-write history to falsely accuse President Bush of being an evil tyrant who invaded a country for oil, while absolving themselves from any of the blame.

Seven years ago today, in a speech on the Iraq war, Sen. Ted Kennedy fired the first shot in an all-out assault on President George W. Bush’s integrity. “All the evidence points to the conclusion,” Kennedy said, that the Bush administration “put a spin on the intelligence and a spin on the truth.” Later that day Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle told reporters Mr. Bush needed “to be forthcoming” about the absence of weapons of mass destruction (WMD).

Thus began a shameful episode in our political life whose poisonous fruits are still with us.

The next morning, Democratic presidential candidates John Kerry and John Edwards joined in. Sen. Kerry said, “It is time for a president who will face the truth and tell the truth.” Mr. Edwards chimed in, “The administration has a problem with the truth.”

The battering would continue, and it was a monument to hypocrisy and cynicism. All these Democrats had said, like Mr. Bush did, that Saddam Hussein possessed WMD. Of the 110 House and Senate Democrats who voted in October 2002 to authorize the use of force against his regime, 67 said in congressional debate that Saddam had these weapons. This didn’t keep Democrats from later alleging something they knew was false—that the president had lied America into war.

Senate Intelligence Chairman Bob Graham organized a bipartisan letter in December 2001 warning Mr. Bush that Saddam’s “biological, chemical and nuclear weapons programs . . . may be back to pre-Gulf War status,” and enhanced by “longer-range missiles that will threaten the United States and our allies.” Yet two years later, he called for Mr. Bush’s impeachment for having said Saddam had WMD.

On July 9, 2004, Mr. Graham’s fellow Democrat on Senate Intelligence, Jay Rockefeller, charged that the Bush administration “at all levels . . . used bad information to bolster the case for war.” But in his remarks on Oct. 10, 2002, supporting the war resolution, he said that “Saddam’s existing biological and chemical weapons capabilities pose real threats to America.”

Even Kennedy, who opposed the war resolution, nonetheless said the month before the vote that Saddam’s “pursuit of lethal weapons of mass destruction cannot be tolerated.” But he warned if force were employed, the Iraqi dictator “may decide he has nothing to lose by using weapons of mass destruction himself or by sharing them with terrorists.”

Then there was Al Gore, who charged on June 24, 2004, that Mr. Bush spent “prodigious amounts of energy convincing people of lies” and accused him of treason, bellowing that Mr. Bush “betrayed his country.” Yet just a month before the war resolution debate, the former vice president said, “We know that [Saddam] has stored away secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his country.”

Top Democrats led their party in making the “Bush lied, people died” charge because they wanted to defeat him in 2004. That didn’t happen. Several bipartisan commissions would later catalogue the serious errors in the intelligence on which Mr. Bush and Democrats relied. But these commissions, particularly the Silberman-Robb report of March 31, 2005, found that the “Bush lied” charge was false. Still, the attacks hurt: When they began, less than a third of Americans believed the charge. Two years later, polls showed that just over half did.

So cry all you want, wussy Democrats. You’re getting a taste of what you deserve, and many of you will be jobless in a few months, undoubtedly making this next election even more sweet.

Rahm Emanuel Expected To Quit Obama Later This Year

Obama's White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel Expected To Quit Obama Later This Year

Obama's White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel Expected To Quit Obama Later This Year

Most people living in America, besides Obama, are breathing a sigh of relief after hearing that Rahm Emanuel is expected to quit his job as Obama’s White House chief of staff later this year. Obama, on the other hand, is probably not happy about the probable departure of Emanuel, and his administration is probably desperately scrambling at the moment to put a good spin on the news.

Washington insiders say he will quit within six to eight months in frustration at their unwillingness to “bang heads together” to get policy pushed through.

Mr Emanuel, 50, enjoys a good working relationship with Mr Obama but they are understood to have reached an understanding that differences over style mean he will serve only half the full four-year term.

Friends say he is also worried about burnout and losing touch with his young family due to the pressure of one of most high profile jobs in US politics.

“I would bet he will go after the midterms,” said a leading Democratic consultant in Washington. “Nobody thinks it’s working but they can’t get rid of him – that would look awful. He needs the right sort of job to go to but the consensus is he’ll go.”

An official from the Bill Clinton era said that “no one will be surprised” if Mr Emanuel left after the midterm elections in November, when the Democratic party will battle to save its majorities in the house of representatives and the senate.

It is well known in Washington that arguments have developed between pragmatic Mr Emanuel, a veteran in Congress where he was known for driving through compromises, and the idealistic inner circle who followed Mr Obama to the White House.

His abrasive style has rubbed some people the wrong way, while there has been frustration among Mr Obama’s closest advisers that he failed to deliver a smooth ride for the president’s legislative programme that his background promised.

“It might not be his fault, but the perception is there,” said the consultant, who asked not to be named. “Every vote has been tough, from health care to energy to financial reform.

Democrats have not stood behind the president in the way Republicans did for George W Bush, and that was meant to be Rahm’s job.”

There were sharp differences over health care reform, with Mr Emanuel arguing that public hostility about cost should have forced them into producing a scaled down package. Mr Obama and advisers including David Axelrod, the chief strategist, and Valerie Jarrett, a businesswoman and mentor from Chicago, decided to push through with grander legislation anyway.

Mr Emanuel has reportedly told friends that his role as White House chief of staff was “only an eighteen month job” because of its intensity.

I think the real reason why Mr Emanuel is quitting the Obama White House is because he knows that the Obama Administration is on it’s way down in flames, and he wants to get out before they crash and burn, and the Democrat Party self-destructs after the next election.

Corrupt Obama Administration Also Meddled In Romanoff Senate Race

The Obama Administration may have broken the law again by offering jobs to Andrew Romanoff in order to get him to drop out of the senate race.

The Obama Administration may have broken the law again by offering jobs to Andrew Romanoff in order to get him to drop out of the senate race.

On top of breaking the law by trying  to bribe Joe Sestak to leave his senate race, the corrupt, law-breaking Obama Administration  also meddled in the Romanoff Senate race as well.

The Obama Administration again used the possibility of other jobs to try and entice Andrew Romanoff to drop out of the senate race to leave the door open for his opponent, Michael Bennet.

The Obama Administration flatly denied that President Obama knew anything about the suggesting if job opportunities to Bennet, just as they denied bribing Joe Sestak, which also turned out to be a complete lie. Romanoff has since confirmed that an Obama Administration deputy discussed three specific jobs that “might be available” if he dropped a primary challenge of  Sen. Michael Bennet’s senate seat.

The Obama administration dangled the possibility of a government job for former Colorado House Speaker Andrew Romanoff last year in hopes he would forgo a challenge to Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet, officials said Wednesday, just days after the White House admitted orchestrating a job offer in the Pennsylvania Senate race.

These officials declined to specify the job that was floated or the name of the administration official who approached Romanoff, and said no formal offer was ever made. They spoke on condition of anonymity, saying they were not cleared to discuss private conversations.

“Mr. Romanoff was recommended to the White House from Democrats in Colorado for a position in the administration,” White House deputy press secretary Bill Burton said. “There were some initial conversations with him but no job was ever offered.”

The new revelation of a possible political trade again called into question President Barack Obama’s repeated promises to run an open government that was above back room deals.

The Colorado episode follows a similar controversy in Pennsylvania. An embarrassed White House admitted last Friday that it turned to former President Bill Clinton last year to approach Rep. Joe Sestak about backing out of the primary in favor of an unpaid position on a federal advisory board.

Sestak declined the offer and defeated Sen. Arlen Specter late last month for the Democratic nomination after disclosing the job discussions and highlighting it as evidence of his antiestablishment political credentials. He said last week he rejected Clinton’s feeler in less than a minute.

In a two-page report on the Sestak case, the White House counsel said the administration did nothing illegal or unethical.

Republicans have strongly criticized the offer to Sestak and challenged Romanoff to answer questions about his own dealings with the White House.

“Romanoff would be well-served to explain all of the details surrounding his discussions with the White House, the positions they proposed and the individuals who contacted him immediately,” said Amber Marchand, a spokeswoman for the Republicans’ Senate campaign committee.

Unlike Sestak, Romanoff has ducked questions on the subject, and it was not clear how long his discussions with administration officials lasted. Also unlike Sestak, Romanoff was out of office and looking for his next act after being forced from his job because of term limits.
