The Democrat Senate candidate, Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, obtained at least five military deferments to avoid being drafted and to keep him from having to serve his country in the Vietnam War, yet he lied through his teeth on multiple occasions, and said that he fought in Vietnam.
Richard Blumenthal never fought in Vietnam, but Democrats will say or do anything to try and get elected, or stay in power.
Here is the liar Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut trying to smooth over his lies and deception. I love the beginning of the clip where Blumenthal says that couldn’t be more proud to be there, and some scmuck, probably being paid by Blumenthal says “We’re proud of you Dick.” That’s a laugh!
If Richard Blumenthal would have made the comment on only one occasion, it may have been a little more believable that he misspoke, bt to do it “a few times” just means that Richard Blumenthal was trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the American people, and that he is just another corrupt lying Democrat who will do anything and say anything to keep their jobs.

“We have learned something important since the days that I served in Vietnam,” Mr. Blumenthal said to the group gathered in Norwalk in March 2008. “And you exemplify it. Whatever we think about the war, whatever we call it — Afghanistan or Iraq — we owe our military men and women unconditional support.”
There was one problem: Mr. Blumenthal, a Democrat now running for the United States Senate, never served in Vietnam. He obtained at least five military deferments from 1965 to 1970 and took repeated steps that enabled him to avoid going to war, according to records.
The despicable liar Richard Blumenthal doesn’t think he owes the American People an apology for his multiple bald faced lies about serving in Vietnam, which he did not.
This is just one more example of the typical corruption and lies that permeate the Democrat party.
